What the differences mean
At the 7-iron, the G5 is 34° and the S58 is 34.25°, a 0.2° gap. Each degree of loft is worth roughly 3 to 4 yards of carry at the same swing speed, so the G5 should carry a yard or so further with that club, on a slightly lower, shallower flight than the S58. Across the 9 clubs both sets share, the differences roughly cancel out, with the largest gap at the PW (46° vs 47°).
