About the TaylorMade Hi-Toe 4
The Hi-Toe 4 is the 2024 generation of TaylorMade's high-toe specialty wedge, at retail from 14 August 2024 until the Hi-Toe 5 replaced it in 2026. It brings the MG4's Spin Tread laser milling to the raw high-toe face, softens the look by shrinking the old sole cavities to a single toe pocket plus a toe pad, and keeps full-face grooves on the 54- to 60-degree heads. The grind story is all new: five milled "All Terrain" soles replace the previous low/standard/high bounce trio, giving 17 loft/bounce/grind combinations from 50 to 60 degrees. The retail finish is aged copper; the MyHi-Toe 4 program added raw, chrome and black. Left-handed 58-degree heads (and the 54 ATS) were custom-order only.
Grind options
The sole grinds this model is sold in, with the lofts each one is available at.
- ATS (All Terrain Standard)50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58°, 60°
- The default sole, offered at every loft — a reinforced four-way camber suited to all swing types and turf conditions.
- ATV (All Terrain Versatility)56°, 58°, 60°
- Asymmetric bounce with a concave sole that gains bounce as the face opens — for shallow attack angles on tight lies and firm turf.
- ATX (All Terrain XTRA)56°, 58°, 60°
- New for Hi-Toe 4 — a mid-bounce triple sole whose leading edge resists digging while aggressive trailing-edge relief cuts through the turf; best for steeper swings.
- ATC (All Terrain C)58°, 60°
- The lowest-bounce option, a classic C-grind with aggressive heel and toe relief for firm conditions and shallow attack angles.
- ATW (All Terrain Wide)56°, 58°, 60°
- The widest, most forgiving sole in the lineup, with high effective bounce for steep swingers, soft or wet turf and sand.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts does the TaylorMade Hi-Toe 4 come in?
50 to 60 degrees in 2-degree steps — 17 loft, bounce and grind combinations in all.
What grinds does the Hi-Toe 4 offer?
Five milled All Terrain soles: ATS standard at every loft, ATV (56-60), the new triple-sole ATX (56-60), low-bounce ATC (58-60) and the wide ATW (56-60).
What changed from the Hi-Toe 3 to the Hi-Toe 4?
Spin Tread laser milling was added to the raw face, the back-sole cavities shrank to a cleaner single pocket, and the three-bounce lineup was replaced by five All Terrain grinds — 17 combinations against the Hi-Toe 3's 10.
Finding one used
The TaylorMade Hi-Toe 4 ran from 2024 to 2026 and is no longer in production, so the used market is the only source. Search the used listings on eBay. Check the loft and bounce against the chart above before buying used — wedges are routinely bent from standard, and worn grooves cost spin long before a wedge looks worn.
