About the Callaway Apex Ai300
The Apex Ai300 is the larger of the two Apex Ai irons Callaway announced on 12 August 2024, described by Callaway as its most complete forged game-improvement iron, with retail from 23 August 2024 at 1,400 dollars for a seven-piece set. It is a forged cavity back rather than the Ai200's hollow body, but shares the Forged 455 Face Cup, the Ai Smart Face designed from golfer swing data, urethane microspheres and the MIM weight system. Lofts sit a degree weaker than the Ai200 through most of the set — a 29-degree 7-iron and a 42-degree pitching wedge — while the mid-iron shafts run about a quarter inch longer on a game-improvement length progression, and offset is noticeably greater. The chart runs from the 4-iron to a 47-degree approach wedge. Figures are the men's standard steel build; swing weight and bounce were not published and are omitted.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a Callaway Apex Ai300 7-iron?
The Callaway Apex Ai300 7-iron has a loft of 29 degrees, a lie of 62.25 degrees and a steel-shaft length of 37.25 inches.
Is the Callaway Apex Ai300 a game-improvement iron?
Yes. Callaway called it its most complete forged game-improvement iron at launch — a forged cavity back with a slightly larger profile, more offset and longer mid-iron shafts than the players-distance Apex Ai200.
Are the Apex Ai300 lofts stronger than the Apex Ai200?
No, slightly weaker — 29 degrees at the 7-iron against 30, and a 42-degree pitching wedge against 43 — but the Ai300 plays its mid irons about a quarter inch longer.
Where it sits in the lineup
Introduced in 2024, the Callaway Apex Ai300 is a current game improvement set in the Callaway range, with no replacement announced. It replaced the Callaway Apex DCB. New sets are built to the standard lofts, lies and lengths in the chart above, though a fitting can move any of them — so confirm the numbers on the order sheet. Used sets appear on eBay, 2nd Swing and Golf Avenue, and should be measured against this chart before buying.
