Each row is one combination the model is sold in, factory standard. Loft and lie on an individual wedge may differ if it has been bent during a fitting.

Length note: Lengths follow the USGA / R&A measuring convention Cleveland adopted with the RTZ generation, so they read about a quarter inch longer than pre-2025 Cleveland spec sheets; the builds are unchanged.

About the Cleveland RTZ 2

The RTZ 2 is the 2026 generation of Cleveland's tour wedge line, announced with presale on 4 August 2026 and at retail from 4 September. It keeps the second-generation Z-Alloy head and adds ZipCore iQ, which tunes the lightweight hosel core individually for every loft and grind combination, alongside loft-specific HydraZip face blasting and UltiZip grooves. The Tour Satin matrix charted here runs 24 loft/bounce/grind combinations from 46 to 64 degrees across five grinds — the four carried over from the RTZ plus the reintroduced Roger Cleveland 588 grind at 54 to 60 degrees. The Black Satin finish covers a 17-combination subset and the raw Tour Rack variant 20, with optional Tour Crafted grind customisation.

Grind options

The sole grinds this model is sold in, with the lofts each one is available at.

LOW Grind58°, 60°, 62°
6 degrees of bounce with heel, toe and trailing-edge relief and the sharpest leading edge in the line. A lob-wedge grind for finesse shots, firmer turf and shallower attack angles.
MID Grind46°, 48°, 50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58°, 60°
10 degrees of bounce on an all-around V-shaped sole that cuts smoothly through turf. Suits all conditions, average divots and neutral attack angles — the grind offered at every loft.
FULL Grind54°, 56°, 58°, 60°
12 degrees of bounce on a classic high-bounce sole with the most rounded leading edge, for stability on full shots, bunkers and thick rough in softer conditions.
588 Grind54°, 56°, 58°, 60°
8 degrees of bounce on the reintroduced Roger Cleveland classic 588 sole — more bounce toward the toe and less in the heel. Suits moderate to shallow swings.
ADAPT Grind54°, 56°, 58°, 60°, 64°
8 degrees of bounce with full-face grooves (ADAPT Full-Face Precision), a higher toe profile, a leading-edge bounce chamfer and heel, toe and trailing-edge relief for open-face shots in all turf.

Frequently asked questions

What lofts does the Cleveland RTZ 2 come in?

The RTZ 2 Tour Satin runs from 46 to 64 degrees in 2-degree steps — 24 loft, bounce and grind combinations. The Black Satin finish covers a 50-60 degree subset and the raw Tour Rack 48-60.

What grinds does the Cleveland RTZ 2 offer?

Five, each at a fixed bounce: LOW (6 degrees, 58-62), MID (10 degrees, every loft 46-60), FULL (12 degrees, 54-60), the reintroduced 588 (8 degrees, 54-60) and the full-face ADAPT (8 degrees, 54-64).

What changed from the Cleveland RTZ to the RTZ 2?

The 588 grind returned, taking the matrix from 20 to 24 combinations, and the ZipCore hosel core became ZipCore iQ — tuned individually for each loft and grind rather than shared across the line. Z-Alloy, HydraZip and UltiZip carry over in second-generation form.

What is the 588 grind on the RTZ 2?

A reintroduction of Roger Cleveland's classic 588 sole at 8 degrees of bounce, with more bounce toward the toe and less in the heel. It is offered at 54, 56, 58 and 60 degrees and suits moderate to shallow swings.

Where it sits in the lineup

Introduced in 2026, the Cleveland RTZ 2 is a current tour wedge in the Cleveland range as of October 2026, with no replacement announced. It replaced the Cleveland RTZ. New wedges are built to the loft, bounce and grind options in the chart above; a fitting can bend loft and lie from standard, so confirm the numbers on the order sheet. Check the loft and bounce against the chart above before buying used — wedges are routinely bent from standard, and worn grooves cost spin long before a wedge looks worn.
