What the differences mean
Both families are sold in 3 heads — Std, LS, and Max for the LTDx, LS, X, and Max for the Darkspeed.
The LTDx is sold from 9° to 12°, the Darkspeed from 8° to 12°. Only the Darkspeed has a stock 8° option.
Adjustability is a wash: both use the same hosel system (MyFly8 with SmartPad, ±1.5° of loft, 8 settings), so a given head reaches the same effective loft window in either generation.
The two lines launched 2 years apart (2022 and 2024), so they compete head-to-head rather than one replacing the other.
Which should you choose?
Neither family is better outright — match the head to your shot shape and forgiveness needs first, then pick the stock loft nearest your launch window and fine-tune with the hosel. Feel, sound and price at your spec are the real tiebreakers.
Both families are charted in full on their own pages: Cobra LTDx driver specs and Cobra Darkspeed driver specs.
