Options per loft
- S23
- T24
What the differences mean
The T24 offers the wider selection: 17 loft/bounce/grind combinations against 12 for the S23. The T24 also has the deeper grind catalogue: 5 sole grinds against 4.
The S23 is sold from 46° to 60°, the T24 from 46° to 60°. Only the T24 comes in 48°.
The scoring lofts are where bounce and grind choice matters most: at 56° the T24 offers 4 options to 2; at 58° the T24 offers 4 options to 3; at 60° the T24 offers 3 options to 2. More options at a degree means more ways to match the sole to your turf and swing, which is what a wedge fitting actually selects.
Both lines were introduced in 2023, so this is a choice between two current designs rather than an upgrade.
Which should you choose?
Neither is the better wedge outright — both are current tour-style designs. The T24 offers the wider option matrix, which matters if you want an unusual bounce or grind at your loft; otherwise choose on feel, finish and price at the combination you actually play.
Both option charts are reproduced in full on their own pages: Mizuno S23 specs and Mizuno T24 specs.
