About the Ping Blueprint S
Blueprint S is the cavity-back half of Ping's forged Blueprint pair, sold alongside the Blueprint T muscleback. Ping hollows a pocket into the back of the 3, 4 and 5 irons — its Precision Pocket Forging — to free around 10 grams for perimeter weighting, so the long irons gain stability without changing the shape at address. Lofts, lies and lengths match the cast i230 exactly, at 33 degrees and 37.00 inches for the 7-iron, but offset is roughly 0.01 to 0.02 inches tighter club for club. Lies below are the black (standard) code.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a Ping Blueprint S 7-iron?
The Ping Blueprint S 7-iron has a loft of 33 degrees, a standard (black dot) lie of 62.0 degrees and a steel-shaft length of 37.00 inches.
What is the difference between Ping Blueprint S and Blueprint T?
Blueprint T is the muscleback; Blueprint S is the cavity back, with a pocket forged into the back of the 3, 4 and 5 irons to move about 10 grams to the perimeter for extra long-iron stability.
Are Blueprint S lofts the same as the Ping i230?
Yes — 19, 22.5, 26, 29.5, 33, 37, 41 and 45 degrees at identical lies and lengths. Blueprint S is the forged version of that chart, with slightly less offset.
Is the Ping Blueprint S forged?
Yes, from 8620 carbon steel, unlike the cast 431 stainless i230 that shares its loft chart.
Where it sits in the lineup
Introduced in 2024, the Ping Blueprint S is a current players set in the Ping range, with no replacement announced. New sets are built to the standard lofts, lies and lengths in the chart above, though a fitting can move any of them — so confirm the numbers on the order sheet. Used sets appear on eBay, 2nd Swing and Golf Avenue, and should be measured against this chart before buying.
