About the Ping i3+
The i3+ is the 2002 update of the i3, sold in two head styles: the standard i3+, the more forgiving perimeter-weighted model documented in the offset and bounce figures below, and the smaller i3+ Blade with less offset and less bounce. Both share the same loft, lie and length chart, which Ping published unrounded — the 7-iron is 34.4 degrees rather than the i3's 34.5. The series kept the Custom Tuning Port, enlarged for more perimeter weighting, added a lowered lead edge for cleaner turf contact, and revised the notched, flat-top hosel. On Ping's chart the i3+ Blade offsets run 0.26 inches at the 2-iron down to 0.08 at the 9-iron, with iron bounce of 0 to 7 degrees against the standard model's 6.75 to 12; the wedges share their specs across both models. Ping's colour-code (dot) system sets lie angle relative to standard; the lies below are the BLACK (standard) lies. The i3+ stayed in the line alongside the G2 until the i5 arrived in 2005.

The Ping i3+ 7-iron has a loft of 34.4 degrees, a standard (black dot) lie of 62.3 degrees and a steel-shaft length of 36.75 inches. Ping published the i3+ chart unrounded, so the figures sit a fraction off the i3's half-degree values.
What is the difference between the Ping i3+ and the i3+ Blade?
They share the same lofts, lies and lengths. The standard i3+ carries more offset (0.30 inches at the 3-iron against the Blade's 0.21) and more bounce (7.5 degrees at the 3-iron against 1), while the Blade's smaller head and reduced offset target better players. The wedge specs are identical across the two.
When were Ping i3+ irons made?
The i3+ was introduced in 2002 as the update of the 2000 i3 and remained in Ping's line until the i5 replaced it in 2005.
Are Ping i3+ lofts the same as the Ping i3?
Effectively yes — Ping published the i3+ chart unrounded, so the 34.5-degree i3 7-iron reads 34.4 on the i3+ chart, with the same lengths and near-identical lies throughout.
Finding a used set
The Ping i3+ ran from 2002 to 2005 and is no longer in production, so the used market is the only source. Search eBay, 2nd Swing, Golf Avenue and the PGA Tour Superstore trade-in listings, and check the loft and lie against the chart above before buying — sets this age have often been bent from standard.
