About the Ping Rhapsody
The 2007 Rhapsody launched Ping's modern line of dedicated women's clubs, a complete driver-through-putter family whose irons are deep cavity backs built light and upright for slower swing speeds. The set blends hybrids into the top end, with matching Rhapsody hybrids replacing the long irons above the 5-iron, and the irons run generous offset - .28 inches at the 5-iron - with a 34 degree 7-iron and 46 degree pitching wedge on women's standard lengths about an inch under men's. Specs below are the women's standard build with the stock ULT 129i graphite. Ping revived the Rhapsody name for an unrelated second-generation set in 2015; this entry is the original. The Faith replaced it in 2011.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a Ping Rhapsody 7-iron?
The 2007 Ping Rhapsody 7-iron has a loft of 34 degrees, a 62.25 degree lie and a 36.25 inch women's standard graphite length.
Are Ping Rhapsody irons for women?
Yes. The Rhapsody was Ping's dedicated women's line, launched in 2007 as a complete set - driver, fairways, hybrids, irons and putter - built light and upright for slower swing speeds.
Are there two generations of Ping Rhapsody irons?
Yes. The original Rhapsody launched in 2007; Ping reused the name in 2015 for a different second-generation women's set with 24 to 58 degree lofts and ULT 220 shafts. This page covers the 2007 original.
Finding a used set
The Ping Rhapsody ran from 2007 to 2011 and is no longer in production, so the used market is the only source. Search eBay, 2nd Swing, Golf Avenue and the PGA Tour Superstore trade-in listings, and check the loft and lie against the chart above before buying — sets this age have often been bent from standard.
- qsponge.com 'What is loft angle of Ping RHAPSODY Irons' and 2ndswing.com Ping Rhapsody iron set spec tables - matching loft, lie and length rows for 5-iron through SW, with qsponge additionally publishing the offsets recorded here. Compiled from secondary spec databases because the 2007-era ping.com product pages were Flash-based and their spec tables are not recoverable from the Internet Archive.
- Golf Discount and golfbidder Rhapsody combo-set listings - the stock set blends Rhapsody hybrids above the 5-iron, with the 4H at 22 degrees matching a 4-iron/5-wood slot
- Retail listings across eBay, SidelineSwap, proclubs.com and nearlynewgolfclubs.co.uk - the Ping ULT 129i Ultra Lite ladies graphite is the stock shaft on virtually every surviving set, and cashforgolfclubs.com dates the line to 2007
- thesandtrap.com 'PING Expands Lineup for 2011' - the Faith line replaced the Rhapsody as Ping's women's family in 2011, which sets year_discontinued on the successor convention
