Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.

Hosel adjustment chart

PXG adjustable shaft adapter · loft ±1.5° · 8 settings.

The Standard "Dot" is the most upright position; every other setting flattens lie by 0.5° to 3° relative to it. PXG markets the upright Dot setting for draw bias and the flattest "PXG Standard" setting for fade bias.

About the PXG Black Ops

The 0311 Black Ops hybrids launched in 2024 with the Black Ops woods — a single high-MOI head in six lofts from a 17° 2-hybrid to a 31° 7-hybrid. Each head carries PXG's adjustable shaft adapter and three interchangeable sole weights, so loft, lie, swing weight and bias are all tunable. The Lightning hybrids replaced the line for 2026.

Frequently asked questions

What lofts does the PXG Black Ops hybrid come in?

Six lofts: 17, 19, 22, 25, 28 and 31 degrees — the 2-hybrid through 7-hybrid.

Is the PXG Black Ops hybrid adjustable?

Yes — the eight-position PXG shaft adapter moves loft ±1.5 degrees with flat-lie options to 3 degrees, and three interchangeable sole weights tune swing weight and shot bias.

What replaced the PXG Black Ops hybrids?

The PXG Lightning hybrids, announced in December 2025, which extended the ladder to a 34 degree 8-hybrid.

Buying one

PXG has since introduced the PXG Lightning above it in the range, so the Black Ops is at the end of its retail life rather than fully retired — closeout stock still turns up at retailers, and hybrids one generation back are the sweet spot of the used market. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable hybrid may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
