Hosel adjustment chart
PXG adjustable shaft adapter · loft ±1.5° · 8 settings.
The Standard "Dot" is the most upright position; every other setting flattens lie by 0.5° to 3° relative to it. There is no upright-beyond-Dot setting. PXG markets the upright Dot setting for draw bias and the flattest "PXG Standard" setting for fade bias.

The same universal PXG adapter is used across generations, so Black Ops and Lightning shafts interchange. The stated lie in the chart above is measured at the Standard "Dot" position.

About the PXG Black Ops
The 0311 Black Ops is PXG's 2024 driver generation — the one that moved the brand into the 10K-MOI conversation. Its titanium body carries compression-moulded carbon inserts and three perimeter weight ports (a 12.5 g back weight plus 2.5 g heel and toe weights as stock, swappable from 2.5 to 20 g in 2.5 g steps), under the variable-thickness AMF titanium face. The standard head is the high-MOI core model, the Tour-1 is the lowest-spinning head in the PXG lineup with a taller, deeper face, and the Ultra-Lite — added February 2025 at 189 grams — serves slower swing speeds with a single rear port. The Lightning family replaced the line in December 2025.
Head variants
The heads this family is sold in, with each one’s stock loft options.

- The core high-MOI head — PXG claimed MOI tunable to roughly 10,000 g·cm² with the back weight maxed. Three ports: 12.5 g centre-back for MOI and launch, 2.5 g heel (draw) and toe (fade). The 8° head is right-hand only.
- Black Ops Tour-18°, 9°, 10.5°
- The lowest-spinning driver in the PXG lineup: a taller head, deeper face and more crown curvature, with the weight ports set closer to centre-forward for a forward CG. Left-hand stock is 9° only.
- Black Ops Ultra-Lite10.5°, 11.5°
- Added February 2025: a 189 g head (14 g lighter than standard) with a single 12.5 g rear port and Precision Weighting build range of roughly 179-196.5 g, for slower swing speeds. Right-hand only.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts does the PXG Black Ops come in?
The standard 0311 Black Ops comes in 8, 9, 10.5 and 12 degrees (8 right-hand only); the Black Ops Tour-1 in 8, 9 and 10.5; and the Black Ops Ultra-Lite in 10.5 and 11.5, right-hand only.
How do you adjust a PXG Black Ops driver?
The eight-position PXG adapter moves loft up to 1.5 degrees either way. The Standard 'Dot' is the most upright (draw-biased) setting, and the other settings flatten lie by 0.5 to 3 degrees — the flattest 'PXG Standard' position is the fade-bias option.
What do the Black Ops weight ports do?
The standard head carries a 12.5 gram centre-back weight plus 2.5 gram heel and toe weights, swappable from 2.5 to 20 grams in 2.5 gram steps — back for maximum MOI and launch, heel for draw, toe for fade. The Tour-1's ports sit closer to centre-forward for lower spin.
Is the PXG Black Ops still in production?
The Lightning replaced it as PXG's flagship in December 2025, though Black Ops stock remained on PXG's regional sites into 2026. Used and closeout examples are plentiful, and the adapter is the same as the Lightning's.
Buying one
PXG has since introduced the PXG Lightning above it in the range, so the Black Ops is at the end of its retail life rather than fully retired — closeout stock still turns up at retailers, and drivers one generation back are the sweet spot of the used market. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable driver may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
