Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.
Hosel adjustment chart
4° Loft Sleeve · loft ±2° · 12 settings.
There is no flat setting — lie only moves upright, up to 4° at the UPRT position, and the loft settings themselves add up to 2° of upright lie. Lowering loft opens the face and raising it closes it: about 1.5° per 0.75° notch, up to 4° at the full ±2° setting.
| Setting | Loft | Lie | Face angle |
|---|---|---|---|
| STD LOFT | std | std | square |
| STD +1 notch | +0.75° | 0.5° upright | 1.5° closed |
| STD +2 notches | +1.5° | 1.25° upright | 3° closed |
| HIGHER | +2° | 2° upright | 4° closed |
| HIGHER / UPRT | +1.5° | 2.75° upright | 3° closed |
| UPRT +1 notch | +0.75° | 3.5° upright | 1.5° closed |
| UPRT | std | 4° upright | square |
| UPRT −1 notch | −0.75° | 3.5° upright | 1.5° open |
| LOWER / UPRT | −1.5° | 2.75° upright | 3° open |
| LOWER | −2° | 2° upright | 4° open |
| STD −2 notches | −1.5° | 1.25° upright | 3° open |
| STD −1 notch | −0.75° | 0.5° upright | 1.5° open |
The sleeve is marked STD LOFT, HIGHER, UPRT and LOWER; the table lists all twelve stops in order around the dial. The same 4° Loft Sleeve has been used unchanged since the SIM generation, so sleeves and shafts interchange across Qi35, Qi10 and Stealth-era drivers.

About the TaylorMade Qi4D
The Qi4D is TaylorMade's 2026 driver family, on pre-order from 8 January and at retail from 29 January 2026 at $649.99. The headline change is material: the Qi4D Max and Max Lite swap the titanium chassis for a forged, machined 7075 aircraft-grade aluminium body — TaylorMade's first modern non-titanium driver — while the core Qi4D and the LS keep a carbon-crowned titanium chassis. All four heads carry the fifth-generation 60X Carbon Twist Face, now with embedded reflective markers so a launch monitor can read the face without stickers, and the line introduces the REAX stock-shaft system co-developed with Mitsubishi, fitted by shaft rotation rate (HR/MR/LR) rather than flex alone. The core Qi4D gains a quad-weight Trajectory Adjustment System, making it the most fittable head TaylorMade has sold.
Head variants
The heads this family is sold in, with each one’s stock loft options.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts does the TaylorMade Qi4D come in?
The core Qi4D head comes in 8, 9, 10.5 and 12 degrees; the Qi4D LS in 8, 9 and 10.5; the Qi4D Max in 9, 10.5 and 12; and the Qi4D Max Lite in 10.5 and 12. The 8 degree heads and the core 12 degree head are right-hand only.
How do you adjust the TaylorMade Qi4D driver?
The Qi4D uses TaylorMade's 4 degree Loft Sleeve: twelve positions that move loft up to 2 degrees either way in 0.75 degree notches. Adding loft also closes the face up to 4 degrees and lowering it opens the face; the UPRT setting keeps the stated loft but sets lie 4 degrees upright.
What is different about the Qi4D Max body?
The Qi4D Max and Max Lite use a forged, machined 7075 aircraft-grade aluminium body instead of titanium — TaylorMade's first modern non-titanium driver. The Max is also the first Max head with movable weights, a 13 g and a 4 g port front and back.
Is the Qi4D sleeve compatible with older TaylorMade drivers?
Yes. The 4 degree Loft Sleeve is unchanged from previous generations, so shafts with Qi35, Qi10 or Stealth-era sleeves fit the Qi4D and the settings chart reads the same.
Where it sits in the lineup
Introduced in 2026, the TaylorMade Qi4D is the current TaylorMade driver line as of October 2026, with no replacement announced. It replaced the TaylorMade Qi35. New heads are sold in the stock lofts charted above; the hosel settings extend each head beyond its stamped loft, so a loft between two stock options is usually reachable from either. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable driver may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.

Note: TaylorMade publishes lie as an adjustable range per head (Qi4D 56-60°, LS 54-58°, Max and Max Lite 58-62°) rather than a single figure, so no static lie column is charted.
