About the XXIO 14+

The 14+ is the first plus model in an XXIO numbered line, aimed at players with slightly faster swings than the standard 14 suits. It runs stronger lofts through the middle of the set, sits a half-degree flatter in the long irons, is built a quarter inch shorter than the 14 at every club, and stops at an approach wedge rather than carrying a sand wedge. The stock shaft is a Fujikura Speeder NX DST built for XXIO rather than the in-house MP1400.

Frequently asked questions

What is the loft of an XXIO 14+ 7-iron?

The XXIO 14+ 7-iron has a loft of 28.5 degrees, a lie of 62.0 degrees and a length of 37.25 inches.

Who is the XXIO 14+ for?

XXIO positions it for players with slightly faster swing speeds than the standard 14 suits — the same ultralight idea, but with stronger lofts, a shorter build and a heavier stock shaft.

Does the XXIO 14+ come with a sand wedge?

No. The set runs 5-iron through approach wedge at 49 degrees; the standard XXIO 14 is the one that carries a 56-degree sand wedge.

Where it sits in the lineup

Introduced in 2025, the XXIO 14+ is a current game improvement set in the XXIO range as of September 2026, with no replacement announced. New sets are built to the standard lofts, lies and lengths in the chart above, though a fitting can move any of them — so confirm the numbers on the order sheet. Used sets appear on eBay, and should be measured against this chart before buying.

  • firstcallgolf.com 'Crafted for Effortless Play, XXIO Introduces the All-New XXIO 14' — unveiled November 2025, on sale 8 December 2025, and the note that the 14+ is aimed at slightly faster swing speeds than the standard 14.
