About the Callaway Apex Pro 21

Apex Pro 21 is the tour end of Callaway's Apex family: a 1025 carbon steel forging with tungsten energy cores, urethane microspheres filling the cavity to damp vibration, and a hollow construction through the long irons. Lofts are traditional for a players iron — the 7-iron is 33 degrees, four weaker than the Rogue ST Pro of the following year — and offset is tight, from 3.56 mm at the 3-iron to 1.65 mm at the approach wedge.

Where it sits in the lineup

Introduced in 2021, the Callaway Apex Pro 21 is a current players set in the Callaway range, with no replacement announced. New sets are built to the standard lofts, lies and lengths in the chart above, though a fitting can move any of them — so confirm the numbers on the order sheet. Used sets appear on eBay, 2nd Swing and Golf Avenue, and should be measured against this chart before buying.

Data compiled from:
  • 2nd Swing Golf specification table for the Callaway Apex Pro 21 iron set (https://www.2ndswing.com/golf-clubs/iron-sets/callaway-apex-pro-21-iron-set) — supplied every loft, lie, length, offset and swing weight above, both stock shafts and the Golf Pride Z Grip.
  • Note on offset: the source publishes offset in millimetres (3.56 mm down to 1.65 mm), converted to inches here.
  • prnewswire.com 'Callaway Golf Announces New Apex Irons And Hybrids' — the Apex 21 family, including the Apex Pro 21, was announced on 12 January 2021, with pre-orders from 26 January and retail from 11 February; body forged from 1025 mild carbon steel.
  • Note: bounce is omitted — the source table did not carry a bounce column. Confidence is medium because the figures come from a retailer spec table rather than a Callaway spec sheet.
