Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.
Hosel adjustment chart
OptiFit hosel (3-wood and 3HL heads) · loft −1° to +2° · 8 settings.
The lie cog has two positions: N (neutral, the stated lie) and D (draw, a more upright lie — Callaway does not publish the degree change). Changing loft re-orients the head on the shaft, so lower settings sit slightly open and higher settings slightly closed at address.
| Setting | Loft | Lie |
|---|---|---|
| −1 / N | −1° | neutral |
| −1 / D | −1° | draw (more upright) |
| S / N | std | neutral |
| S / D | std | draw (more upright) |
| +1 / N | +1° | neutral |
| +1 / D | +1° | draw (more upright) |
| +2 / N | +2° | neutral |
| +2 / D | +2° | draw (more upright) |
Callaway's spec sheet marks only the 15° and 16.5° heads of the Elyte, Elyte X and Triple Diamond as adjustable; every other loft, and the whole Max Fast fairway line, is bonded. The two-cog OptiFit design is the same one used on the Elyte drivers.

About the Callaway Elyte
The Elyte fairway woods launched in early 2025 with the Elyte drivers, built around a tungsten "Speed Wave" weight set low and forward to protect ball speed on low-face strikes. The core Elyte runs a seven-loft ladder from a 15° 3-wood to a 27° 11-wood, including Callaway's 20° Heavenwood; the Elyte X is the larger, higher-launching forgiveness head; the Triple Diamond is the compact low-spin tour head with flatter lies; and the Max Fast is the lightweight build for moderate swing speeds. The Quantum fairways replaced the line in 2026.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts do the Callaway Elyte fairway woods come in?
The core Elyte comes in 15, 16.5, 18, 20 (Heavenwood), 21, 24 and 27 degrees; the Elyte X in 15, 16.5, 18 and 21; the Triple Diamond in 15, 18 and 21; and the Max Fast in 16, 19, 22 and 25.
Is the Callaway Elyte fairway wood adjustable?
Only the 15 degree 3-woods and 16.5 degree 3HL heads carry the OptiFit hosel (minus 1 to plus 2 degrees with a neutral or draw lie cog). Every other loft, and the whole Max Fast line, is bonded.
What is the Callaway Heavenwood?
The 20 degree, 43 inch head in the core Elyte line — Callaway's long-running name for a high-launch 7-wood-loft club built to 4-wood length, designed as an easy long-iron replacement.
Buying one
Callaway has since introduced the Callaway Quantum above it in the range, so the Elyte is at the end of its retail life rather than fully retired — closeout stock still turns up at retailers, and fairway woods one generation back are the sweet spot of the used market. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable fairway wood may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
