Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.
Hosel adjustment chart
OptiFit hosel · loft −1° to +2° · 8 settings.
The lie cog has two positions: N (neutral, the stated lie) and D (draw, a more upright lie — Callaway does not publish the degree change). Changing loft re-orients the head on the shaft, so lower settings sit slightly open and higher settings slightly closed at address.
| Setting | Loft | Lie |
|---|---|---|
| −1 / N | −1° | neutral |
| −1 / D | −1° | draw (more upright) |
| S / N | std | neutral |
| S / D | std | draw (more upright) |
| +1 / N | +1° | neutral |
| +1 / D | +1° | draw (more upright) |
| +2 / N | +2° | neutral |
| +2 / D | +2° | draw (more upright) |
The two-cog OptiFit design is unchanged from the Paradym through the Ai Smoke, Elyte and Quantum. Callaway's own OptiFit instructions illustrate it on a 10.5° head: the four loft positions play 9.5°, 10.5°, 11.5° and 12.5°, each at Neutral or Draw lie.

About the Callaway Elyte
The Elyte is Callaway's 2025 driver family, launched in January 2025 as the follow-up to the Paradym Ai Smoke. Its face is the Ai 10x — designed with ten times more AI control points than the Ai Smoke's Smart Face — under a Thermoforged Carbon crown that saves the paint and overlapping-ply weight of a conventional carbon layup. The core Elyte and the Elyte X carry a 13 g movable perimeter weight, the 450 cc Triple Diamond is the low-spin tour head, and the Max Fast is the ultralight build, which this generation got its adjustable OptiFit hosel back. Mid-2025 line extensions added a Triple Diamond Max and a limited Triple Diamond Tour Draw. The Quantum family replaced the Elyte in February 2026, making it the closeout value pick.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts does the Callaway Elyte come in?
The Elyte and Elyte X come in 9, 10.5 and 12 degrees (X 12 right-hand only), the Elyte Triple Diamond in 8, 9 and 10.5 (8 right-hand only), and the Elyte Max Fast in 10.5 and 12.
What is the Elyte adjustment chart?
The Elyte uses Callaway's two-cog OptiFit hosel: loft positions of −1, stated, +1 and +2 degrees, each combined with a Neutral or Draw lie cog, for eight settings in all. A 10.5 degree head spans 9.5 to 12.5 degrees.
What is the difference between the Elyte and Elyte X?
The Elyte is the neutral all-rounder whose 13 gram perimeter weight reaches draw, neutral and fade settings; the Elyte X is bigger-footprinted, higher launching and slightly draw-biased, with a more upright 59 degree lie and no fade setting.
Is the Callaway Elyte still in production?
Callaway replaced it with the Quantum family in February 2026, so the Elyte is at the end of its retail life — widely available at closeout prices and on the used market, where it is the value pick of the two generations.
Buying one
Callaway has since introduced the Callaway Quantum above it in the range, so the Elyte is at the end of its retail life rather than fully retired — closeout stock still turns up at retailers, and drivers one generation back are the sweet spot of the used market. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable driver may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
