Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.
Hosel adjustment chart
OptiFit hosel · loft −1° to +2° · 8 settings.
The lie cog has two positions: N (neutral, the stated lie) and D (draw, a more upright lie — Callaway does not publish the degree change). Changing loft re-orients the head on the shaft, so lower settings sit slightly open and higher settings slightly closed at address.
| Setting | Loft | Lie |
|---|---|---|
| −1 / N | −1° | neutral |
| −1 / D | −1° | draw (more upright) |
| S / N | std | neutral |

| +1 / N | +1° | neutral |
| +1 / D | +1° | draw (more upright) |
| +2 / N | +2° | neutral |
| +2 / D | +2° | draw (more upright) |
Every Elyte X and Max Fast loft is adjustable, as are the core Elyte's 19°, 22° and 24° heads; only the core 26° is bonded. The two-cog OptiFit design is the same one used on the Elyte drivers and 3-woods.

About the Callaway Elyte
The Elyte hybrids launched in early 2025 with the Elyte woods. The core Elyte is the mid-sized all-rounder with OptiFit adjustability on the 19°, 22° and 24° heads plus a bonded 26°; the Elyte X is the compact, stronger-lofted player's head, adjustable at every loft from 18° to 31°; and the Elyte Max Fast is the lightweight high-launch model for moderate swing speeds, adjustable from 23° out to a 39° 8-hybrid at a C9 swing weight. The Quantum hybrids replaced the line in 2026.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts do the Callaway Elyte hybrids come in?
The core Elyte comes in 19, 22, 24 and 26 degrees; the Elyte X in 18, 21, 25, 29 and 31; and the Elyte Max Fast in 23, 27, 31, 35 and 39.
Are the Callaway Elyte hybrids adjustable?
Almost all of them — every Elyte X and Max Fast loft and the core Elyte's 19, 22 and 24 degree heads carry the OptiFit hosel (minus 1 to plus 2 degrees with a neutral or draw lie cog). Only the core 26 degree head is bonded.
What is the difference between the Elyte and Elyte X hybrids?
The X is the compact player's shape with stronger lofts at each slot (18/21/25 against 19/22/24) and a flatter, more iron-like flight; the core Elyte is the larger, easier-launching head. Both build to a D2 swing weight.
Buying one
Callaway has since introduced the Callaway Quantum above it in the range, so the Elyte is at the end of its retail life rather than fully retired — closeout stock still turns up at retailers, and hybrids one generation back are the sweet spot of the used market. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable hybrid may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
