Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.
Hosel adjustment chart
OptiFit hosel · loft −1° to +2° · 8 settings.
The lie cog has two positions: N (neutral, the stated lie) and D (draw, a more upright lie — Callaway does not publish the degree change). Changing loft re-orients the head on the shaft, so lower settings sit slightly open and higher settings slightly closed at address.
| Setting | Loft | Lie |
|---|---|---|
| −1 / N | −1° | neutral |
| −1 / D | −1° | draw (more upright) |
| S / N | std | neutral |
| S / D | std | draw (more upright) |
| +1 / N | +1° | neutral |
| +1 / D | +1° | draw (more upright) |
| +2 / N | +2° | neutral |
| +2 / D | +2° | draw (more upright) |
The two-cog OptiFit design introduced here carried unchanged into the Ai Smoke, Elyte and Quantum generations. On a 10.5° head the four loft positions play 9.5°, 10.5°, 11.5° and 12.5°.

About the Callaway Paradym
The Paradym is Callaway's 2023 driver family and the first with a 360° Carbon Chassis: a Triaxial Carbon crown and Forged Carbon sole replace the titanium body entirely, freeing mass that an A.I.-designed forged titanium FS2S face and Jailbreak A.I. bracing turn into speed and stability. The core Paradym carries a 15 g sliding perimeter weight worth roughly a dozen yards of draw-to-fade correction; the Paradym X is the stretched, higher-launching forgiveness head with a fixed weight; and the 450 cc Triple Diamond is the compact tour head with front/back interchangeable weighting. The Ai Smoke generation replaced it in 2024, and the Paradym is now one of the better value buys on the used premium-driver market.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts does the Callaway Paradym come in?
The Paradym and Paradym X come in 9, 10.5 and 12 degrees; the Paradym Triple Diamond in 8, 9 and 10.5.
How do you adjust a Callaway Paradym driver?
With the two-cog OptiFit hosel: the loft cog plays −1, stated, +1 or +2 degrees and the lie cog sits in Neutral or Draw, giving eight combinations. A 10.5 degree head spans 9.5 to 12.5 degrees.
What is the difference between the Paradym and Paradym X?
The core Paradym has a 15 gram sliding weight for draw-to-fade tuning at a 57 degree lie; the Paradym X is larger-profiled, higher-launching and slightly draw-biased with fixed weighting and a 60 degree lie.
Is the Callaway Paradym still in production?
No — it was replaced by the Paradym Ai Smoke in 2024. It remains plentiful used, where its 360° Carbon Chassis construction makes it a strong value against newer lines.
Buying one
Callaway has since introduced the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke above it in the range, so the Paradym is at the end of its retail life rather than fully retired — closeout stock still turns up at retailers, and drivers one generation back are the sweet spot of the used market. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable driver may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.

- Note: retailer tables disagree on the Paradym X lie (57° vs 60°) and the Triple Diamond volume (450 vs 460 cc); the majority figures charted here are 60° and 450 cc. Callaway's own Paradym spec pages are no longer live.
