Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.

Hosel adjustment chart

OptiFit hosel (3-wood heads; all Triple Diamond lofts) · loft −1° to +2° · 8 settings.

The lie cog has two positions: N (neutral, the stated lie) and D (draw, a more upright lie — Callaway does not publish the degree change). Changing loft re-orients the head on the shaft, so lower settings sit slightly open and higher settings slightly closed at address.

Callaway's spec sheet marks the core Paradym 3-wood and 3HL, the Paradym X 3-wood, and every Triple Diamond loft as adjustable; the other lofts are bonded. The two-cog OptiFit design is the same one used on the Paradym drivers.

About the Callaway Paradym

The Paradym fairway woods launched in early 2023 with the Paradym drivers. The core Paradym runs a seven-loft ladder from the 15° 3-wood to a 27° 11-wood, including the 20° Heavenwood, with an adjustable hosel on the 3-wood and 3HL only; the Paradym X is the larger, more upright draw head in four lofts; and the Triple Diamond is the compact tour head, sold down to a 13.5° 3+ wood with every loft adjustable. The Paradym Ai Smoke line replaced it in January 2024.

Frequently asked questions

What lofts do the Callaway Paradym fairway woods come in?

The core Paradym comes in 15, 16.5, 18, 20 (Heavenwood), 21, 24 and 27 degrees; the Paradym X in 15, 16.5, 18 and 21; and the Triple Diamond in 13.5, 15 and 18.

Is the Callaway Paradym fairway wood adjustable?

Partly. The core Paradym 3-wood and 3HL, the Paradym X 3-wood and every Triple Diamond loft carry the OptiFit hosel (minus 1 to plus 2 degrees with a neutral or draw lie cog); the other lofts are bonded.

What is the Paradym 3+ wood?

The 13.5 degree Triple Diamond head — a strong-lofted, deep-faced 3-wood built as a tee club for fast swings, right-hand only, playable down to 12.5 or up to 15.5 degrees through the hosel.

Buying one

Callaway has since introduced the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke above it in the range, so the Paradym is at the end of its retail life rather than fully retired — closeout stock still turns up at retailers, and fairway woods one generation back are the sweet spot of the used market. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable fairway wood may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
