Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.
Hosel adjustment chart
FutureFit33 · loft ±2° · 33 settings.
Lie adjusts ±2° from stock, independently of loft. The SmartPad sole keeps the face visually square at address in every setting.
FutureFit33 works through two dials — an A-H ring and a 1-8 ring — whose combinations collapse to 33 unique loft/lie settings, with A1 the neutral stock position; the system is identical on the OPTM drivers, fairways and hybrids. Cobra publishes the code-by-code degree chart only as a graphic reached from a QR code on the hosel, so none is reproduced here. Each stock loft covers roughly ±2°: the 15° OPTM X 3-wood plays 13-17°, the 14.5° LS Ti plays 12.5-16.5°. Retailer-published lies for the OPTM MAX's higher lofts disagree (60-62° in one listing, about 61-61.8° in another), so only the consistently reported 3-wood lie is charted.

About the Cobra OPTM
The OPTM metalwoods launched in January 2026, replacing the DS-ADAPT line after one season and carrying over Cobra's FutureFit33 hosel — 33 loft and lie settings within ±2° — on every head. Three fairway models mirror the driver lineup: the compact titanium OPTM LS Ti for low spin and workability at $469, the core OPTM X in five lofts from a 15° 3-wood to a 24° 9-wood at $369, and the larger game-improvement OPTM MAX with two movable sole weights at $329.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts do the Cobra OPTM fairway woods come in?
The OPTM X comes in 15, 16.5, 18, 21 and 24 degrees; the OPTM MAX in 15.5, 18.5, 21.5 and 24.5; and the titanium OPTM LS Ti in 14.5, 16 and 17.
Are the Cobra OPTM fairway woods adjustable?
Yes — every head carries Cobra's FutureFit33 hosel with 33 loft and lie settings covering plus or minus 2 degrees each way, and the SmartPad sole keeps the face square in every setting. The OPTM MAX adds two movable sole weights.
What is the difference between the OPTM X and OPTM MAX fairway woods?
The X is the core all-round head with 58-58.8 degree lies in five lofts. The MAX is the larger game-improvement head sold half a degree weaker per loft, with more upright lies, a lighter 50 gram stock shaft and two movable weights for draw or trajectory bias.
What replaced the Cobra DS-ADAPT fairway woods?
These — the OPTM fairways replaced the DS-ADAPT line in January 2026.
Where it sits in the lineup
Introduced in 2026, the Cobra OPTM is the current Cobra fairway wood line as of October 2026, with no replacement announced. It replaced the Cobra DS-ADAPT. New heads are sold in the stock lofts charted above; the hosel settings extend each head beyond its stamped loft, so a loft between two stock options is usually reachable from either. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable fairway wood may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
