Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.

Hosel adjustment chart

Quick Switch · loft ±2°.

Mizuno's published ranges run from the stated lie upward — the upright positions add up to 3° of lie. Lowering loft opens the face and raising it closes it, as on any hosel-based adjuster.

Mizuno publishes the Quick Switch range per head — a 15° head plays 13-17°, an 18° head 16-20°, and so on — but does not publish a position-by-position chart online, so none is reproduced here. The two 15° rows are the 3T (58.5° lie, the compact tour fitting) and the standard 3-wood (59.5° lie); both play the same stamped loft.

About the Mizuno JPX One

The JPX One fairway woods launched in early 2026 with the JPX One drivers and hybrids, retiring the ST metalwood naming and folding Mizuno's woods back under the JPX banner. The line is a single head design in five fittings — a compact 3T tour 3-wood with a flatter lie alongside the standard 15°, 18°, 21° and 24° heads — each carrying Mizuno's Quick Switch adjustable hosel with ±2° of loft movement. US pricing sits at $350 per club with Tensei 1K and Project X Denali Blue Frost stock shaft options.

Frequently asked questions

What lofts do the Mizuno JPX One fairway woods come in?

Five fittings: a compact 15 degree 3T, a standard 15 degree 3-wood, an 18 degree 5-wood, a 21 degree 7-wood and a 24 degree 9-wood.

Is the Mizuno JPX One fairway wood adjustable?

Yes — every head carries Mizuno's Quick Switch hosel with plus or minus 2 degrees of loft and upright lie settings to 3 degrees. Mizuno publishes the range per head rather than a position-by-position chart.

What is the difference between the JPX One 3T and the standard 3-wood?

Both are 15 degrees, but the 3T is the compact tour fitting with a lie a full degree flatter (58.5 versus 59.5 degrees) for players who want a smaller, more workable head.

What replaced the Mizuno ST-MAX 230 fairway woods?

These — the JPX One fairways replaced the ST-MAX 230 line in early 2026 as Mizuno moved its metalwoods under the JPX One name.

Where it sits in the lineup

Introduced in 2026, the Mizuno JPX One is the current Mizuno fairway wood line as of October 2026, with no replacement announced. It replaced the Mizuno ST-MAX 230. New heads are sold in the stock lofts charted above; the hosel settings extend each head beyond its stamped loft, so a loft between two stock options is usually reachable from either. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable fairway wood may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
