About the Mizuno MP-54
The MP-54 was unveiled at the 2013 Open Championship at Muirfield alongside the MP-4 blade, and it is the forgiving half of that pair — a Grain Flow Forged cavity back with a slightly thicker sole than the MP-53 it followed. Lofts are traditional, with a 34-degree 7-iron, and bounce stays low throughout, from 1 degree at the 3-iron to 5 at the pitching wedge. The stock set is 3-PW.

Where it sits in the lineup
Introduced in 2013, the Mizuno MP-54 is a current players set in the Mizuno range, with no replacement announced. It replaced the Mizuno MP-53. New sets are built to the standard lofts, lies and lengths in the chart above, though a fitting can move any of them — so confirm the numbers on the order sheet. Used sets appear on eBay, 2nd Swing and Golf Avenue, and should be measured against this chart before buying.
