About the Ping G Le3
The G Le3 is the third generation of Ping's club line engineered specifically for women, launched on 18 July 2023. The irons are lightweight, perimeter-weighted 17-4 stainless steel heads with a metal-wood-style face structure and a multi-material PurFlex cavity badge for more face flexing, with high-density heel and toe weights providing the forgiveness while keeping overall weight and swing weight low. The set runs 6-iron through sand wedge, with matching G Le3 hybrids (22 to 34 degrees) covering the 4H to 7H slots above it. Ping custom-engineered the loft progression for slower swing speeds — 29.5 degrees at the 7-iron with a wide 4.5-degree gap down to the 25-degree 6-iron — and the specs below are the women's standard graphite build with Ping's ULT 250 i shaft. Ping's colour-code (dot) system sets lie angle relative to standard; the lies below are the standard lies. The G Le4 family replaced it in 2026.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a Ping G Le3 7-iron?
The Ping G Le3 7-iron has a loft of 29.5 degrees, a lie of 62 degrees and a graphite-shaft length of 36.5 inches.
Why does the Ping G Le3 set start at the 6-iron?
Ping designed the G Le3 for moderate swing speeds and replaced the long and mid irons with matching G Le3 hybrids of 22, 26, 30 and 34 degrees (4H-7H), so a full set blends hybrids into the 6-iron through sand wedge.
Are Ping G Le3 irons only for women?
Ping engineered the G Le3 family specifically for women — lighter heads, lighter ULT 250 i shafts and swing weights around C1-C6 — though anyone with a moderate swing speed can play them.
When was the Ping G Le3 released and replaced?
The G Le3 family launched on 18 July 2023 and was replaced by the G Le4 family in 2026.
Finding a used set
The Ping G Le3 ran from 2023 to 2026 and is no longer in production, so the used market is the only source. Search eBay, 2nd Swing, Golf Avenue and the PGA Tour Superstore trade-in listings, and check the loft and lie against the chart above before buying — sets this age have often been bent from standard.
