Hosel adjustment chart
PXG adjustable shaft adapter · loft ±1.5° · 8 settings.
The Standard "Dot" is the most upright position; every other setting flattens lie by 0.5° to 3° relative to it. There is no upright-beyond-Dot setting. PXG markets the upright Dot setting for draw bias and the flattest "PXG Standard" setting for fade bias; loft changes shift effective face angle at address as on any adapter.
| Setting | Loft | Lie |
|---|---|---|
| Standard (Dot) | std | std (most upright) |
| Small Plus | +1° | 0.5° flat |
| Big Plus | +1.5° | 1.5° flat |
| Flat Plus | +1° | 2.5° flat |
| PXG Standard | std | 3° flat |
| Flat Minus | −1° | 2.5° flat |
| Big Minus | −1.5° | 1.5° flat |
| Small Minus | −1° | 0.5° flat |
PXG uses the same universal driver/fairway adapter across generations; the chart is PXG's published one. The stated lie in the chart above is measured at the Standard "Dot" position.

About the PXG Lightning
The Lightning fairway woods launched on 2 December 2025 with the Lightning drivers and hybrids, replacing the Black Ops woods as PXG's 2026 flagship line. The standard head stretches the ladder to six lofts — adding 9- and 11-woods above the Black Ops range — with head volumes from 200 cc at the 3-wood down to 160 cc, three weight ports (one 12.5 g and two 2.5 g) for up to 17.5 g of movable mass, and PXG's adjustable shaft adapter on every head. The compact Lightning Tour comes in 15° and 18° with flatter lies, smaller 180/170 cc heads and a two-port weight setup.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts do the PXG Lightning fairway woods come in?
The standard Lightning comes in 15, 17, 18, 21, 24 and 27 degrees — a 3-wood through 11-wood including a 17 degree 4-wood — and the compact Lightning Tour in 15 and 18.
Are the PXG Lightning fairway woods adjustable?
Yes — every head carries PXG's eight-position shaft adapter (plus or minus 1.5 degrees of loft, lie to 3 degrees flat) plus movable sole weights: three ports with 17.5 grams of mass on the standard head, two ports on the Tour.
What is the difference between the Lightning and Lightning Tour fairway woods?
The Tour is a smaller head — 180 cc against 200 cc in the 3-wood — with lies half a degree flatter, a two-port weight setup and a lower, more workable flight for faster players. It comes only in 15 and 18 degrees.
What replaced the PXG Black Ops fairway woods?
These — the Lightning fairways replaced the Black Ops line on 2 December 2025 as PXG's 2026 flagship, adding 9- and 11-wood lofts the Black Ops never offered.
Where it sits in the lineup
Introduced in 2025, the PXG Lightning is the current PXG fairway wood line as of October 2026, with no replacement announced. It replaced the PXG Black Ops. New heads are sold in the stock lofts charted above; the hosel settings extend each head beyond its stamped loft, so a loft between two stock options is usually reachable from either. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable fairway wood may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
