Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.

Hosel adjustment chart

PXG adjustable shaft adapter · loft ±1.5° · 8 settings.

The Standard "Dot" is the most upright position; every other setting flattens lie by 0.5° to 3° relative to it. There is no upright-beyond-Dot setting. PXG markets the upright Dot setting for draw bias and the flattest "PXG Standard" setting for fade bias; loft changes shift effective face angle at address as on any adapter.

About the PXG Lightning

The Lightning hybrids launched on 2 December 2025 with the Lightning drivers and fairways, replacing the Black Ops hybrids. The single head design runs a seven-loft ladder from a 17° 2-hybrid all the way to a 34° 8-hybrid — the widest hybrid range PXG has offered — with head weights stepping from 230 g to 260 g, three sole weight ports (one 12.5 g and two 2.5 g) and PXG's adjustable shaft adapter on every head. Launch pricing was $330 per club.

Frequently asked questions

What lofts does the PXG Lightning hybrid come in?

Seven lofts: 17, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31 and 34 degrees — a 2-hybrid through 8-hybrid, the widest hybrid range PXG has offered. Only the 17 degree head is right-hand only.

Is the PXG Lightning hybrid adjustable?

Yes — every loft carries PXG's eight-position shaft adapter (plus or minus 1.5 degrees of loft, lie to 3 degrees flat) plus three sole weight ports with 17.5 grams of movable mass for bias and swing weight tuning.

What replaced the PXG Black Ops hybrid?

This one — the Lightning hybrids replaced the Black Ops hybrids on 2 December 2025, with lower face weighting, better turf interaction and two extra lofts at the top of the ladder.

Where it sits in the lineup

Introduced in 2025, the PXG Lightning is the current PXG hybrid line as of October 2026, with no replacement announced. It replaced the PXG Black Ops. New heads are sold in the stock lofts charted above; the hosel settings extend each head beyond its stamped loft, so a loft between two stock options is usually reachable from either. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable hybrid may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
