About the TaylorMade Qi HL
Qi HL is the high-launch model of TaylorMade's 2024 Qi iron family, aimed at moderate swing speeds. It uses the same lies and lengths as the standard Qi but weakens every loft by two degrees — 30 degrees at the 7-iron against 28 — and pairs that with a head about 6 grams lighter and lighter, higher-launching stock shafts, so total club weight drops by more than 20 grams. The stock set runs 5-PW. Figures below are the men's standard right-handed build.
Stock shafts
- FST KBS Max Lite — steel · flexes: R, S
- Fujikura Speeder NX TCS 50 — graphite · flexes: A, R, S

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a TaylorMade Qi HL 7-iron?
The TaylorMade Qi HL 7-iron has a loft of 30 degrees, a lie of 63.0 degrees and a length of 37.25 inches.
What is the difference between the TaylorMade Qi and Qi HL?
HL stands for higher and lighter. The lies and lengths are the same, but every Qi HL loft is two degrees weaker — 30 degrees at the 7-iron against 28 — and the head is about 6 grams lighter with lighter stock shafts, so the whole club is more than 20 grams lighter.
Is the Qi HL the same as the Qi10 irons?
TaylorMade catalogues the 2024 irons as Qi and Qi HL. They launched with the Qi10 driver, fairway woods and hybrids, so much of the coverage calls them Qi10 and Qi10 HL — they are the same clubs.
Does the Qi HL come with a 4-iron?
No. The published set starts at a 23.5-degree 5-iron and runs to a 54-degree sand wedge, with 5-PW the stock build.
Finding a used set
The TaylorMade Qi HL ran from 2024 to 2026 and is no longer in production, so the used market is the only source. Search eBay, 2nd Swing, Golf Avenue and the PGA Tour Superstore trade-in listings, and check the loft and lie against the chart above before buying — sets this age have often been bent from standard.

- todays-golfer.com 'Super easy launch? TaylorMade Qi HL Iron Review' — independently confirms the 30-degree 7-iron, the lofts being two degrees weaker than the standard Qi, the 6-gram lighter head, the KBS Max Lite and Speeder NX TCS stock shafts and the Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 Lite grip.

- Note: offset and bounce were not published in the sources consulted and are omitted rather than estimated. Swing weight is only published for three clubs and is recorded for those alone.
- Naming note: TaylorMade catalogues the 2024 irons as Qi and Qi HL. Because they launched alongside the Qi10 driver, fairway woods and hybrids, much of the coverage refers to them as Qi10 and Qi10 HL — they are the same clubs.
- Succession: the Qi Max HL, announced 8 January 2026 as the high-launch lightweight companion to the Qi Max that replaced the Qi (todays-golfer.com Qi Max launch coverage), takes over this model's role — hence year_discontinued 2026.
