Hosel adjustment chart
4° Loft Sleeve · loft ±2° · 12 settings.
There is no flat setting — lie only moves upright, up to 4° at the UPRT position, and the loft settings themselves add up to 2° of upright lie. Lowering loft opens the face and raising it closes it: about 1.5° per 0.75° notch, up to 4° at the full ±2° setting.
| Setting | Loft | Lie | Face angle |
|---|---|---|---|
| STD LOFT | std | std | square |
| STD +1 notch | +0.75° | 0.5° upright | 1.5° closed |
| STD +2 notches | +1.5° | 1.25° upright | 3° closed |
| HIGHER | +2° | 2° upright | 4° closed |
| HIGHER / UPRT | +1.5° | 2.75° upright | 3° closed |
| UPRT +1 notch | +0.75° | 3.5° upright | 1.5° closed |
| UPRT | std | 4° upright | square |
| UPRT −1 notch | −0.75° | 3.5° upright | 1.5° open |
| LOWER / UPRT | −1.5° | 2.75° upright | 3° open |
| LOWER | −2° | 2° upright | 4° open |
| STD −2 notches | −1.5° | 1.25° upright | 3° open |
| STD −1 notch | −0.75° | 0.5° upright | 1.5° open |
The sleeve is marked STD LOFT, HIGHER, UPRT and LOWER; the table lists all twelve stops in order around the dial. The same sleeve carries through to the Qi10, Qi35 and Qi4D, so shafts interchange forward.

About the TaylorMade Stealth 2
The Stealth 2 is the 2023 refinement of TaylorMade's "carbonwood" project — the red-faced driver that replaced a titanium face with a 24-gram, 60-layer carbon one. Where the original Stealth still hung its carbon face on a conventional body, the Stealth 2 pushed carbon through the whole build: crown, sole and a Carbon Reinforced Composite Ring that unites the head, leaving titanium only in the face collar and the weights. The Plus is the tour head with a 15 g sliding track plus a 15 g rear weight, the core Stealth 2 carries a fixed 25 g rear weight for forgiveness, and the HD adds heel weighting and a 30 g rear weight for a high-launching draw. The Qi10 replaced the family in 2024.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts does the TaylorMade Stealth 2 come in?
The Stealth 2 Plus comes in 8, 9 and 10.5 degrees; the core Stealth 2 in 9, 10.5 and 12; and the Stealth 2 HD in 9, 10.5 and 12.
How do you adjust a Stealth 2 driver?
With TaylorMade's 12-position 4 degree Loft Sleeve: loft moves up to 2 degrees either way in 0.75 degree notches, the face closes as loft is added and opens as it is removed, and the UPRT setting plays the stated loft at 4 degrees upright.
What is the difference between the Stealth 2, Plus and HD?
The Plus is the low-spin tour head with a 15 g sliding weight track; the core Stealth 2 carries a fixed 25 g rear weight for forgiveness with neutral bias; the HD is heel-weighted with a 30 g rear weight for a higher, draw-biased flight.
Is the TaylorMade Stealth 2 still in production?
No — it ran from 2023 to 2024, when the Qi10 replaced it, so the used market is the main source. Its Loft Sleeve is the same one used on current TaylorMade drivers, so replacement shafts are easy to find.
Finding one used
The TaylorMade Stealth 2 ran from 2023 to 2024 and is no longer in production, so the used market is the only source. Search the used listings on eBay. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable driver may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
