About the XXIO Prime 10
Prime 10 is the second XXIO Prime iron generation, following the original Prime 9 into the US market in 2018. It carried over the same loft, lie, bounce and length table as the Prime 9 while adding a thin, forged Super-TIX PLUS titanium face insert with a CNC-milled speed groove in place of the first generation's stainless-only face, for more ball speed from the same very light head weight. The offset is pronounced in the long irons and tapers sharply toward the wedges for control. The stock shaft is the XXIO Prime SP-1000, built with Toray T1100G carbon fibre and Nanoalloy resin. The stock set was 7-9-PW, sold individually as 5, 6, AW and SW.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of an XXIO Prime 10 7-iron?
The XXIO Prime 10 7-iron has a loft of 28 degrees, a lie of 62.5 degrees and a length of 37.25 inches, the same table used by the Prime 9 and Prime 11 generations either side of it.
What changed between the XXIO Prime 9 and Prime 10?
The head geometry held steady, but the Prime 10 added a thin, forged Super-TIX PLUS titanium face insert with a CNC-milled speed groove in place of the Prime 9's stainless-only face, plus a new SP-1000 stock shaft, for more ball speed at the same very light swing weight.
What shaft came stock in the XXIO Prime 10?
The XXIO Prime SP-1000, a graphite shaft built with Toray T1100G carbon fibre and Nanoalloy resin, in R and SR flex.
Finding a used set
The XXIO Prime 10 ran from 2018 to 2020 and is no longer in production, so the used market is the only source. Search eBay, 2nd Swing, Golf Avenue and the PGA Tour Superstore trade-in listings, and check the loft and lie against the chart above before buying — sets this age have often been bent from standard.
- Manufacturer/retailer copy for 'XXIO Prime 10 Irons' (carlsgolfland.com, vkgolfshop.com product listings) — confirms the thin, forged Super-TIX PLUS titanium face with a CNC-milled speed groove, the XXIO Prime SP-1000 graphite shaft (Toray T1100G carbon fibre, Nanoalloy resin), and the pronounced-to-tapering offset profile from long irons to wedges.
- Note on loft/lie/bounce/length table: no independent Prime-10-specific spec chart could be retrieved (the retailer pages that carry it are behind a bot-check wall). The table recorded here is carried over from the confirmed Prime 9 and Prime 11 tables, which are identical to each other club for club (loft, lie, bounce and length all match exactly across both independently-sourced tables — sdgolfpro.com for Prime 9, 2ndswing.com for Prime 11), and XXIO's Prime line is documented elsewhere (see Honma and XXIO sibling files on this site) as typically holding a loft/lie table constant across a generation or two while changing face material and shaft. Confidence is set to medium/low specifically because of this extrapolation.
- Year note: year_introduced 2018 and year_discontinued 2020 follow XXIO's Prime numbering cadence, pairing Prime 10 with the contemporaneous 10th-generation XXIO cycle (announced Japan late 2017, US retail early 2018, per the xxio-10-irons.yaml entry on this site) and ending at the Prime 11 introduction.
