Hosel adjustment
The Cobra Darkspeed has a glued, non-adjustable hosel — the loft printed on the head is the loft it plays. Loft and lie can only be altered by a clubmaker, so pick the stock loft to match your launch rather than planning to tune it later.

About the Cobra Darkspeed
The Darkspeed hybrid launched in January 2024 with the Darkspeed woods — one head in five lofts with a 12 g mid-back weight for high launch and a fixed, glued hosel, unlike the MyFly-equipped drivers and fairways of the same family. Right-handed lofts run 17° to 28° (the 28° by custom order); left-handers get 19°, 21° and 24°. The DS-ADAPT hybrid replaced it in January 2025 and added hosel adjustability.

What lofts does the Cobra Darkspeed hybrid come in?

Is the Cobra Darkspeed hybrid adjustable?
No — unlike the Darkspeed drivers and fairways with their MyFly8 hosels, the hybrid has a glued, fixed hosel and plays at its stamped loft. Adjustability arrived with the DS-ADAPT hybrid a year later.
What is the difference between the Darkspeed and DS-ADAPT hybrids?
The lofts are nearly identical (the DS-ADAPT 6-hybrid stays at 28 degrees), but the DS-ADAPT added Cobra's FutureFit33 hosel with 2 degrees of independent loft and lie adjustment, where the Darkspeed is fixed.
Buying one
Cobra has since introduced the Cobra DS-ADAPT above it in the range, so the Darkspeed is at the end of its retail life rather than fully retired — closeout stock still turns up at retailers, and hybrids one generation back are the sweet spot of the used market. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable hybrid may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
