Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.
Hosel adjustment chart
FutureFit33 · loft ±2° · 33 settings.
Lie adjusts ±2° from stock, independently of loft — a Cobra first. The SmartPad sole keeps the face visually square at address in every setting.
FutureFit33 works through two dials — an A-H ring and a 1-8 ring — whose 64 combinations collapse to 33 unique loft/lie settings, with A1 the neutral stock position. The valid codes are A1-A8, B1, B3, B4, B6, B7, C1, C2, C4, C7, C8, D1, D2, D3, D6, D8, E1, F1-F4, G1, G3, G4, H1 and H4. Cobra publishes the code-by-code degree chart only as a graphic reached from a QR code on the hosel: outer-ring codes make the biggest moves, inner codes shift loft and lie by tenths of a degree, and the chart is laid out by the miss it corrects. Each stock loft covers ±2°: a 9° head plays 7-11°, a 10.5° head 8.5-12.5°, a 12° head 10-14°.

About the Cobra DS-ADAPT
The DS-ADAPT is Cobra's 2025 driver family — on pre-sale from 12 December 2024 and at retail from 10 January 2025 — and the debut of the FutureFit33 hosel: 33 unique settings that adjust loft and lie up to 2 degrees each, independently, a first for Cobra. The compact 445 cc LS carries three adjustable weight positions for better players; the X is the traditional-profile all-rounder with front/back swappable weights; the Max-K is the oversize highest-MOI model; and the Max-D is the draw head with heel-biased mass. The OPTM replaced the family in January 2026, leaving the DS-ADAPT as a strong closeout buy with the same hosel system as the current line.

Frequently asked questions
What lofts does the Cobra DS-ADAPT come in?
The DS-ADAPT LS and X come in 9 and 10.5 degrees, the Max-K in 9, 10.5 and 12, and the Max-D in 10.5 and 12. The FutureFit33 hosel extends each head 2 degrees either way, so the family covers 7 to 14 degrees in all.
How does the DS-ADAPT's FutureFit33 hosel work?
Two dials — a letter ring A-H and a number ring 1-8 — give 33 unique settings that adjust loft and lie up to 2 degrees each, independently of one another. A1 is the stock neutral setting, and Cobra's chart is organised by the miss you want to correct.
What is the difference between the DS-ADAPT Max-K and Max-D?
The Max-K is the neutral, slightly oversize maximum-forgiveness head; the Max-D moves mass low and into the heel with the PWR-BRIDGE shifted back, producing built-in draw bias for players who fight a slice.
Is the Cobra DS-ADAPT still in production?
The OPTM replaced it in January 2026, so the DS-ADAPT is a closeout and used-market buy — often at steep discounts, with the same FutureFit33 hosel as the current line.
Buying one
Cobra has since introduced the Cobra OPTM above it in the range, so the DS-ADAPT is at the end of its retail life rather than fully retired — closeout stock still turns up at retailers, and drivers one generation back are the sweet spot of the used market. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable driver may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
