About the Cobra KING TEC (2024)
The KING TEC replaced the 2022 KING Forged Tec in October 2024 as Cobra's compact players-distance iron, with a body and face that Cobra describes as five-step forged. The loft, lie and length chart is unchanged from the model it replaced — 29.5 degrees at the 7-iron and 44 at the pitching wedge, built to 37.25 inches at the 7-iron — and a 19-degree 3-iron is listed in right hand only. The stock set is 4-iron to pitching wedge in steel. Figures are the men's standard right-handed steel build.

The KING TEC X is the larger, stronger-lofted model. Its 7-iron is 27 degrees against 29.5 and its pitching wedge 42 against 44, and its lies are one degree more upright. Lengths are the same club for club.

Production status
Introduced in 2024, the Cobra KING TEC (2024) has no confirmed end date on file. It replaced the Cobra KING Forged Tec (2022). LoftChart records a discontinuation year only where a source dates it, and none has been found for this set, so it may or may not still be in the Cobra catalogue — check with Cobra or a retailer before counting on a new set. Used sets appear on eBay, 2nd Swing and Golf Avenue, and should be measured against the chart above before buying, since irons are routinely bent from standard.
