About the Honma TR21 X
The TR21 X completes Honma's TR family as its distance iron: a hollow head with a C300 L-cup face and between 42 and 73 grams of internal tungsten, which is a large fraction of the head's total mass. It is noticeably bigger than the TR20 P — about 1.4mm longer in the blade and 4.5mm taller — and three to four degrees stronger through the set, at 30 degrees for the 7-iron and 43 for the pitching wedge. Honma numbers the wedges 10 and 11; they are recorded below as PW and GW.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a Honma TR21 X 7-iron?
The Honma TR21 X 7-iron has a loft of 30 degrees, a lie of 62.0 degrees and a steel-shaft length of 37.00 inches.
What is the difference between the Honma TR21 X and the TR20 P?
The TR21 X is a hollow-bodied distance iron with a bigger head — roughly 1.4mm longer and 4.5mm taller — and stronger long irons. Their 7-irons are both 30 degrees, but the TR21 X starts at an 18-degree 3-iron where the TR20 P starts at a 21-degree 4-iron.
How much tungsten is in a Honma TR21 X?
Between 42 and 73 grams depending on the club, a large share of the head's total mass.
Does the Honma TR21 X come with a gap wedge?
Honma lists a 48-degree #11, but publishes no lie, length or offset for it, so only the #3 to #10 are charted here.
Where it sits in the lineup
Introduced in 2020, the Honma TR21 X is a current players distance set in the Honma range, with no replacement announced. It replaced the Honma TR20 P. New sets are built to the standard lofts, lies and lengths in the chart above, though a fitting can move any of them — so confirm the numbers on the order sheet. Used sets appear on eBay, 2nd Swing and Golf Avenue, and should be measured against this chart before buying.

Offset is converted to inches here and the N.S. Pro 950GH neo steel-shaft length column is used, per this database's convention; the VIZARD IB-WF85 build runs an eighth of an inch longer at every club.

- Note: the #11 (48-degree gap wedge) is listed by Honma with a loft only — no lie, length or offset were published for it — so it is omitted rather than estimated. Bounce and swing weight were not published either.
