About the Honma TW737 Vn
The Vn is the near-blade head of Honma's 2016 Tour World 737 range: a forged mild-steel muscle-back-leaning shape aimed at better players who want a compact, workable look, but with the weakest lofts of the three 737 heads (34-degree 7-iron, versus 32 for the V and 30 for the Vs) to keep flight height and forgiveness in check for that shape. The set runs 3 through 10 — Honma numbers the pitching wedge as the 10-iron at 46 degrees. Lengths below are the Dynamic Gold steel build; Vizard IB95 graphite builds ran 0.375 inch longer. Honma did not carry the Vn head forward into the TW747 range, which shipped only V, Vx and P heads.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a Honma TW737 Vn 7-iron?
The Honma TW737 Vn 7-iron has a loft of 34 degrees, a lie of 61.5 degrees and a Dynamic Gold steel length of 36.75 inches.
What does the 'n' in Honma TW737 Vn mean?
It marks the near-blade head of the TW737 range — a compact, forged shape for better players with the weakest (highest-degree) lofts of the three 737 heads, so it keeps a traditional flight and feel despite the workable shape.
How does the Honma TW737 Vn compare to the V and Vs?
All three share the same forged mild-steel construction and 3-10 set makeup, but the Vn has the weakest lofts (34-degree 7-iron) and most compact, blade-like shape, the V sits in the middle (32-degree 7-iron), and the Vs has the strongest lofts (30-degree 7-iron) in a slightly larger head.
Finding a used set
The Honma TW737 Vn ran from 2016 to 2018 and is no longer in production, so the used market is the only source. Search eBay, 2nd Swing, Golf Avenue and the PGA Tour Superstore trade-in listings, and check the loft and lie against the chart above before buying — sets this age have often been bent from standard.
- Honma's own TW737 Vn product page, specification table (honmagolf.com/sea/product-details/215) — every loft, lie and Dynamic Gold length recorded here (38.75 down to 35.25 inches), the D2 swing weight progression, the mild-steel forged construction with half-mirror/mirror double-layer plating, the 3-10 set, and the Dynamic Gold / Vizard IB95 stock shaft options in S200/S/SR/X flex. Offset is published for the 3-6 irons only (2.75/2.55/2.05/1.85 mm, converted to inches here); Honma does not publish offset for the 7-iron down.
- thehackersparadise.com 'Honma Tour World 737Vn (TW737Vn) Irons Review' (5 Jan 2017) — describes the Vn as 'the weakest of the three lofted irons' in the TW737 line relative to the V and Vs, and confirms the compact, near-blade players shape with Honma's 'W' double-forging process. Corroborates the 2016 announcement for the 2017 model year.
- mrtopesgolf.com individual-club listing for a TW737 Vn 5-iron on N.S. Pro Modus3 Tour 120 shaft — corroborates the 37.75-inch standard 5-iron length.
- Note on successor: Honma's TW747 range (announced October 2018) shipped only V, Vx and P heads, no Vn; year_discontinued 2018 marks that range announcement, and successor is left null since no direct TW747 equivalent was published.
