About the Mizuno MP-18 SC
The MP-18 SC is the split cavity model in Mizuno's MP-18 family, sitting between the MP-18 MB muscle back and the multi-material MP-18 MMC. It is HD Grain Flow Forged from 1025E mild carbon steel and shares the MB's lofts, lies, lengths and offsets exactly, so the two were commonly built as a combo set. The stock set was 3-PW with a 34-degree 7-iron and a 46-degree pitching wedge, and offset stays under 0.102 inches throughout. Specs below are the men's standard steel-shaft build.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a Mizuno MP-18 SC 7-iron?
The Mizuno MP-18 SC 7-iron has a loft of 34 degrees, with a 61.5-degree lie and a 36.75-inch steel-shaft length.
What is the pitching wedge loft on the Mizuno MP-18 SC?
The MP-18 SC pitching wedge is 46 degrees, with a 63-degree lie and a 35.5-inch length.
Can you combo the MP-18 SC with the MP-18 MB?
Yes. The SC and MB share identical lofts, lies, lengths and offsets, so a combo set such as MB short irons with SC long irons keeps a consistent gapping and offset progression.
Finding a used set
The Mizuno MP-18 SC is no longer in production, so the used market is the only source. Search eBay, 2nd Swing, Golf Avenue and the PGA Tour Superstore trade-in listings, and check the loft and lie against the chart above before buying — sets this age have often been bent from standard.
