Lofts are the stamped stock options for each head, factory standard. The hosel chart below shows how far each can be adjusted from its stamped loft.

Hosel adjustment chart

4° Loft Sleeve · loft ±2° · 12 settings.

There is no flat setting — lie only moves upright, up to 4° at the UPRT position, and the loft settings themselves add up to 2° of upright lie. Lowering loft opens the face and raising it closes it: about 1.5° per 0.75° notch, up to 4° at the full ±2° setting.

TaylorMade publishes one sleeve chart for its metalwoods, so the table matches the Qi4D driver chart. The sleeve reaches further down the line than ever: every core Qi4D and Qi4D Tour loft carries it, including the 9-woods, while on the Max and Max Lite only the 3- and 5-woods are sleeved and the 21° and 24° heads are bonded. TaylorMade publishes lie on the sleeved heads as an adjustable range (56-60° on the 3-wood, rising by number) rather than a single figure, so those rows carry no lie column.

About the TaylorMade Qi4D

The Qi4D fairway woods launched with the Qi4D drivers — pre-orders opened on 8 January 2026 and retail followed on 29 January — replacing the Qi35 line after one season. The loft sleeve spreads even further than on the Qi35: every loft of the core Qi4D and the Qi4D Tour carries the 4° sleeve, including the 24° 9-wood, and every head adds an 8 g Trajectory Adjustment System (TAS) sole weight. The core Qi4D is the mid-launch all-rounder in five lofts, the compact Qi4D Tour adds a tri-weight sole for shape tuning, and the oversize Qi4D Max and lighter-built Qi4D Max Lite keep the sleeve on their 3- and 5-woods with bonded 7- and 9-woods. A women's Max Lite build rounds out the family.

Head variants

The heads this family is sold in, with each one’s stock loft options.

Qi4D15°, 16.5°, 18°, 21°, 24°
The core head for most players: mid-high launch, a fairly compact 185 cc 3-wood stepping down to 155 cc at the 9-wood, the 4° loft sleeve on all five lofts and the 8 g TAS front weight. The 16.5° 3HL and 24° 9-wood are right-hand only.
Qi4D Tour15°, 18°, 21°
The compact precision head — 170 cc in the 3-wood, 150 cc in the 5- and 7-woods — with a tri-weight sole for flight and bias tuning, the loft sleeve on all three lofts and heavier REAX FW 75/65 stock shafts. The 21° 7-wood is right-hand only.
Qi4D Max15°, 18°, 21°, 24°
The oversize high-MOI head — about 200 cc in the 3-wood — for easy launch and stability, at a lighter D2 swing weight. The 3- and 5-woods carry the loft sleeve; the 21° and 24° heads are bonded, and the 9-wood is right-hand only.
Qi4D Max Lite15°, 18°, 21°, 24°
The Max geometry in a build up to 21 g lighter — lighter head, 45 g class REAX FW 45 shaft and a 44 g grip at a D0 swing weight — for moderate swing speeds, in the same four lofts with the sleeve on the 3- and 5-woods. A women's version is also offered.

Frequently asked questions

What lofts do the TaylorMade Qi4D fairway woods come in?

The core Qi4D comes in 15, 16.5, 18, 21 and 24 degrees; the Qi4D Tour in 15, 18 and 21; and the Qi4D Max and Max Lite in 15, 18, 21 and 24.

Are the Qi4D fairway woods adjustable?

More than any TaylorMade line before them. Every core Qi4D and Qi4D Tour loft carries the 4 degree loft sleeve — including the 9-woods — and every head has an 8 gram TAS sole weight. On the Max and Max Lite the sleeve is on the 3- and 5-woods, with the 21 and 24 degree heads bonded.

What is the difference between the Qi4D and Qi4D Tour fairway woods?

The Tour is a more compact head with a tri-weight sole for flight and shape tuning and heavier REAX FW 75/65 stock shafts, aimed at faster players. The core Qi4D is the larger-footprint all-rounder with a single 8 gram front weight.

What replaced the TaylorMade Qi35 fairway woods?

These — the Qi4D fairways replaced the Qi35 line in January 2026, with pre-orders from 8 January and retail from 29 January.

Where it sits in the lineup

Introduced in 2026, the TaylorMade Qi4D is the current TaylorMade fairway wood line as of October 2026, with no replacement announced. It replaced the TaylorMade Qi35. New heads are sold in the stock lofts charted above; the hosel settings extend each head beyond its stamped loft, so a loft between two stock options is usually reachable from either. Before buying used, check the stamped loft against the chart above and ask which hosel setting it is in — an adjustable fairway wood may be set a degree or more away from the number on the sole, and sleeve adapters are brand- and generation-specific.
