About the New Level 702+
The 702+ is the largest and most forgiving model in New Level's 702 series, a players-distance iron whose launch coverage ran in late January 2025 — New Level's own comparison chart names the 902-OS and 480-DB as its previous models. The midsize head is forged in one piece from 1020 carbon steel with the series' SPT (Strategically Placed Tungsten) toe plug and a thin topline and sole, and it carries substantially more offset than the 702-CB and 702-MB in the 4- through 6-irons while sharing their exact loft, lie and length ladder — a 33-degree 7-iron and 45-degree pitching wedge over the 4-PW run — so the three blend into combo sets. The shared lofts are stronger than New Level's previous models but still about three degrees weaker than a TaylorMade P790, in keeping with the company's launch-it-properly philosophy. Sold direct and through fitters at about $150 a club, right-handed, built to order from New Level's shaft menu with no stock shaft or swing weight by design.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a New Level 702+ 7-iron?
The New Level 702+ 7-iron has a loft of 33 degrees, a lie of 62 degrees and a length of 37 inches — the same ladder as the 702-CB and 702-MB.
How does the 702+ differ from the 702-CB?
Same lofts, lies and lengths, but the 702+ head is slightly larger with substantially more offset in the 4- through 6-irons — 5.5 mm at the 4-iron against the CB's 2.8 — trading a little compactness for forgiveness and launch.
What did the New Level 702+ replace?
New Level's own comparison chart names the 902-OS and the 480-DB as the previous models in its slot; the 702 series succeeded the 480 line in 2025.
Where it sits in the lineup
Introduced in 2025, the New Level 702+ is a current players distance set in the New Level range as of October 2026, with no replacement announced. It replaced the New Level 480-DB. New sets are built to the standard lofts, lies and lengths in the chart above, though a fitting can move any of them — so confirm the numbers on the order sheet. Used sets appear on eBay, and should be measured against this chart before buying.

- Note: New Level's chart lists the PW lie as 64.5 degrees, a 1.5-degree jump from the 9-iron's 63; the manufacturer figure is used here as published
