About the Mizuno MP-20 MMC
The MP-20 MMC is the second generation of Mizuno's multi-material concept iron, built on the same chassis and set flow as the MP-20 MB but with a forged titanium muscle plate and a tungsten toe weight to move mass away from the centre of the head. The body is Grain Flow Forged HD from 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel and plated with copper under nickel chrome. Lofts sit between the MB and HMB models, with a 32-degree 7-iron and a 46-degree pitching wedge, and offset is moderate at 0.122 inches in the 7-iron. The stock set is 4-PW, and all figures are the men's standard steel-shaft specification.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a Mizuno MP-20 MMC 7-iron?
The Mizuno MP-20 MMC 7-iron has a loft of 32 degrees, with a 61.5-degree lie and a 37-inch steel-shaft length.
How do MP-20 MMC lofts compare with the MP-20 MB?
The MMC is two degrees stronger through the mid-irons, 32 degrees at the 7-iron against 34 degrees for the MB, and both share a 46-degree pitching wedge.
What is inside the MP-20 MMC head?
A forged titanium muscle plate is bonded into the carbon steel body and a high-density tungsten weight sits low in the toe, which lets Mizuno redistribute mass for more forgiveness than the muscle-back MB.
Finding a used set
The Mizuno MP-20 MMC is no longer in production, so the used market is the only source. Search eBay, 2nd Swing, Golf Avenue and the PGA Tour Superstore trade-in listings, and check the loft and lie against the chart above before buying — sets this age have often been bent from standard.
