About the PXG 0317 ST
The 0317 ST Milled Blades are PXG's muscle-back irons, spotted on tour at the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic and launched in late September 2022 in Chrome and Xtreme Dark finishes. Each head is forged three times from 8620 soft carbon steel, then CNC-milled on face and back; the 5-iron through gap wedge are true muscle-backs, while the 3- and 4-iron use a tour-inspired cavity-back design for higher MOI, and a Precision Weighting Technology port lets fitters set swing weight without moving the centre of gravity. The chart is classic blade territory — a 33-degree 7-iron and 46-degree pitching wedge — and in November 2023 the 0317 CB and 0317 T joined it to form the 0317 family, sharing its lofts, lies and lengths for blended sets. PXG stamps the two scoring clubs W and G; they are listed here as PW and GW.

Frequently asked questions
What is the loft of a PXG 0317 ST 7-iron?
The PXG 0317 ST 7-iron has a loft of 33 degrees, a standard lie of 62.5 degrees and a standard length of 37.0 inches.
When did the PXG 0317 ST come out?
PXG launched the 0317 ST Milled Blades in late September 2022, after prototypes surfaced on tour at the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic. The 0317 CB and 0317 T joined it in the 0317 family a year later.
Are all the PXG 0317 ST irons true blades?
The 5-iron through gap wedge are solid muscle-backs. The 3- and 4-iron use a tour-inspired cavity-back design for higher MOI at the top of the set.
Do the PXG 0317 ST and 0317 CB share specs?
Yes. Both publish the same loft, lie, length, offset and bounce chart, which PXG points out makes them natural partners for a blended combo set.
Where it sits in the lineup
Introduced in 2022, the PXG 0317 ST is a current blade set in the PXG range, with no replacement announced. New sets are built to the standard lofts, lies and lengths in the chart above, though a fitting can move any of them — so confirm the numbers on the order sheet. Used sets appear on eBay, 2nd Swing and Golf Avenue, and should be measured against this chart before buying.

- Note: swing weight is not fixed — the Precision Weighting port is set at fitting — so it is omitted.
